Bulgaria Air flag carrier plans to purchase another four or six Boeings 737 next year, bringing the total number of the luxurious fleet up to fourteen.
Bulgaria Air currently operates regular direct flights from Sofia to more than 20 destinations in Europe and Middle East - London, Vienna, Paris, Brussels, Rome, Milan, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Berlin, Frankfurt, Madrid, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Malaga, Lisbon, Prague, Zurich, Moscow, Tel Aviv.
Commenting on the foiled flights to Paris last week, the flag carrier executive director Konstantin Taskov said the return was necessitated by concerns about the passengers' security and comfort.
"Our planes are well maintained and safe," local Trud Dialy cited Taskov as saying.
